Astro created his first graffiti art in 2000 in the northern outskirts of Paris.
Initially concentrating on lettering and wildstyle, this self-taught and passionate artist brings his knowledge and technique towards an abstract art that mixes curves, calligraphy and dynamic forms. Inspired by artists such as Hartung, Vasarely and Mucha, Astro has created his own world by using the subtlety of shadows and lights, the power of colours and the perspective of depths.

He feels comfortable with large formats and has already left his mark with engravings on walls in the heart of the city. This muralist also likes to work in a studio. Thanks to the spontaneous and impulsive stamp that characterises him, Astro deceives the eye of the beholder by distorting the flatness of façades and paintings and thus creating impressive optical illusions. Astro is also the inventor of a new technique called "CelloGraff", which he developed together with the artist Kanos and has been using since 2006. His energy and originality make Astro one of the most important street performers, as demonstrated by his presence at many international festivals (USA, London, Italy, Germany, Portugal...). Astro is now part of the CBS crew from Los Angeles.
