TREEPACK may use the User's Personal Data to make decisions entirely or partially based on automated processes, in accordance with the purposes outlined in this document.
TREEPACK adopts automated decision-making processes to the extent necessary to enter into or perform a contract between the User and the Owner, or based on the User’s explicit consent, where such consent is required by law.
Automated decisions are made by technological means – mostly based on algorithms built on predefined criteria – which may also be provided by third parties. The rationale behind automated decision-making is:
- to enable or otherwise improve the decision-making process;
- to grant Users fair and unbiased treatment, based on consistent and uniform criteria;
- to reduce the potential harm caused by human error, personal bias, etc., which could lead to discrimination or imbalanced treatment of individuals, etc.;
- to reduce the risk of the User defaulting on their contractual obligations. For more information regarding the purposes, potential third-party services, and specific rationale of automated decisions used within TREEPACK, Users can consult the relevant sections in this document.

- Lodge a complaint. Users have the right to bring a claim before their competent data protection authority.
