Urban artist Golif grew up in Tyrol (Austria) and gained a wealth of experience across various professions from an early age. His years of diverse pursuits, both at home and abroad, vividly resonate throughout his creative work.

He has worked as a gilder, sign painter, illusionist, artist, and painter. Defining elements of his high-contrast pieces are vibrant, dynamic brushstrokes that are—for the most part—painted with Tusche (a black liquid used in lithography) on various supports and surfaces. In 2016, he graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna to pursue a thriving career in street art. Golif has organized several solo shows and simply loves creating murals on an immense scale. Most of his work revolves around faces that capture our everyday human expressions. A parking lot spanning some 28,000 square meters (visible from space), or concrete silos... nothing is too monumental to take on.
