Iota is a young artist living and working in Brussels. Since childhood, Iota has experimented with all possible forms of expression. Soon she became addicted to painting and drawing, more specifically portraiture. Learning different techniques and a curious nature soon allowed her to discover and develop a more personal form. Fascinated by pointillism, she found spray paint a good compromise between precision, working point by point and freedom of movement.

Her current work is characterised by allowing the work of art to merge with its surroundings. This means that the piece serves more as a bridge to a certain emotion or atmosphere than just another subject or object. Our emotions are all similar, but are always absorbed differently due to our unique physiques or personal experiences. This point of emotion is exactly what the artist is looking for; to capture the moment that affects the human soul and turn it into a painting.
