A highly skilled painter and muralist from Liège (Belgium) who creates works of art based on just one single rule. Not a golden rule, but the rule of NOIR. Everything is executed in shades of black. Paintings, drawings, monumental murals, wall art, optical illusions, decoration, and urban design… His art captivates you the moment you see it, drawing you in with its technical prowess and mastery of the art of illusion. Even though his more recent works feature a few complementary colors, it remains crystal clear that using only black as a starting point is his signature.

NOIR has crafted paintings and murals with such infinite detail that the closer you look, the more fascinating they become. He found inspiration during his youth in pop art, comic books, and tattoos. What left the greatest impression was discovering the painter and sculptor Robert Longo, celebrated for his monumental, ultra-realistic creations.

NOIR’s way of embracing space breaks all monotony, allowing him to challenge the viewer's perspective and spark new interpretations. His goal is to continually push his boundaries and elevate the art of mural painting to a whole new level.
