Will Barras is an artist, illustrator and animation director living and working in London.
Barras grew up in Birmingham and moved to Bristol to study graphic design. He was one of a new wave of young artists in Bristol's famous street art scene. He co-founded the Scrawl collective with Steff Plaetz and Mr. Jago, thanks to his representations of fluid movement, unique narrative composition and line work. Scrawl published a landmark book in 1999 to document the new movement.
Barras travelled widely, painting live and exhibiting throughout Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Although Scrawl slowed down, he continued to paint and perfect his technique. He has collaborated with Stolen Space and Harlan Levey Projects in Brussels.
