Will Barras is an artist, illustrator, and animation director living and working in London.
Barras grew up in Birmingham and moved to Bristol to study graphic design, where he became part of a new generation of young artists within Bristol's renowned street art scene. Alongside Steff Plaetz and Mr. Jago, he was a founding member of the Scrawl collective, celebrated for his depictions of fluid movement, unique narrative compositions, and expressive linework. In 1999, Scrawl published a seminal book documenting this emerging movement.
Barras traveled extensively, painting live and exhibiting across Europe, the US, and Asia. Even as Scrawl slowed down, he continued painting and refining his technique, collaborating with StolenSpace and Brussels-based Harlan Levey Projects.
