TREEPACK's Cookie Policy
This document informs Users about the technologies that enable TREEPACK to achieve the purposes described below. These technologies allow the Owner to retrieve and store information (for example, through a cookie) or run programs (for example, through a script) on a User’s device over time while the User interacts with TREEPACK.
For convenience, all of these technologies are referred to as “Trackers” in this document—unless there is a reason to distinguish between them.
For example, although cookies can be used in both web browsers and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to refer to cookies in the context of mobile apps, since cookies are browser-based trackers. Therefore, in this document, the term “Cookies” is used only to refer to that specific type of Tracker.
For certain purposes for which Trackers are installed, the User's consent is also required. Once consent has been given, it may be freely withdrawn at any time by following the instructions in this document.
TREEPACK uses Trackers managed directly by the Owner (so-called “First-Party Trackers”) and Trackers used to provide services supplied by third parties (so-called “Third-Party Trackers”). Unless otherwise specified in this document, third-party providers have access to the Trackers they manage.
The validity periods and expiration periods of First-Party Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary, depending on the lifespan set by the Owner or the relevant provider. Some expire upon termination of the User’s browser session.
In addition to what is indicated in the descriptions in each of the categories below, Users can find more precise and up-to-date information regarding the lifetime specifications, as well as any other relevant information—such as the presence of other Trackers—in the linked privacy policies of the relevant third-party providers or by contacting the Owner.
Activities that are strictly necessary for the operation of TREEPACK and the provision of the Service
TREEPACK uses so-called technical cookies and other similar trackers to perform activities that are strictly necessary for the operation or provision of the Service.
Manage preferences and grant or revoke consent
There are several ways to manage your preferences regarding Trackers and, if applicable, to grant or withdraw consent:
Users can manage their preferences regarding Trackers directly from their own device settings, for example, by preventing Trackers from being stored.
In addition, when the use of Trackers is based on consent, Users may grant or withdraw this consent by setting their preferences in the cookie notice or by updating these preferences via the relevant consent preferences widget, if available.
It is also possible to delete previously stored trackers using specific browser or device features, including trackers used to store the User’s initial consent.
Other trackers stored in the browser's local storage can be deleted by clearing the browsing history.
With regard to third-party trackers, Users can manage their preferences and withdraw their consent via the relevant opt-out link (if available), by using the methods specified in the third party’s privacy policy, or by contacting the third party.

Users can also manage certain categories of trackers used in mobile apps by opting out through the relevant device settings, such as the device’s mobile advertising settings or general tracking settings (Users can go to their device settings and locate the relevant setting).
Specific opt-outs for the advertising industry
In addition to the matters described above, Users may also follow the instructions provided by YourOnlineChoices (EU), the Network Advertising Initiative (U.S.), the Digital Advertising Alliance (U.S.), DAAC (Canada), DDAI (Japan), or other similar services. These initiatives allow Users to specify their tracking preferences for most advertising tools. The Owner recommends that Users use this tool in addition to the information provided in this document.
The Digital Advertising Alliance has released an app called AppChoices that allows users to manage interest-based ads in mobile apps.

Definitions and legal references
Personal Data (or Data)
Any information that directly, indirectly, or in connection with other information — including a personal identification number — allows for the identification or identifiability of a natural person.
Usage Data
Information automatically collected by TREEPACK (or third-party services used by TREEPACK), including: the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by TREEPACK users, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.), the country of origin, the User’s browser and operating system characteristics, various time-related data for each visit (such as the time spent on each page of the application), and data regarding the path taken within the application, specifically regarding the order of the pages visited and other parameters related to the device’s operating system and/or the User’s IT environment.
User
The individual using TREEPACK who, unless otherwise specified, coincides with the Data Subject.
Data Subject
The natural person to whom the Personal Data refers.
Data Processor (or Data Supervisor)
The natural or legal person, government agency, department, or other entity that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Processor, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Data Controller (or Owner)
The natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data, including the security measures relating to the operation and use of TREEPACK. The Data Controller is the Owner of TREEPACK, unless otherwise indicated.
TREEPACK (or this Application)
The means by which the Personal Data of the User is collected and processed.
Service
The service provided by TREEPACK as described in the relative terms (if available) and on this site/application.
European Union (or EU)
Unless otherwise specified, all references made within this document to the European Union include all current member states to the European Union and the European Economic Area.
Cookies
Cookies are Trackers consisting of small sets of data stored in the User's browser.
Tracker
The term “trackers” refers to all technologies—such as cookies, unique identifiers, web beacons, embedded scripts, e-tags, and fingerprinting—that make it possible to track Users, for example, by accessing or storing information on the User’s device.
Legal Information
This privacy policy has been prepared based on provisions of multiple legislations, including Art. 13/14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).
This privacy policy applies exclusively to TREEPACK, unless otherwise stated in this document.
