The veterinary practice Beestig in Scherpenheuvel has a new mural, designed by the talented and local street artist TUZQ in collaboration with Leuven artist collective Treepack. The artwork, which depicts a dog and cat, is a real eye-catcher and makes the practice even more attractive to pets and their owners.
A new street art work has recently been on display in Scherpenheuvel. The mural was commissioned by the veterinary practice " Beestig". For this they appealed to the Leuven artist collective Treepack.
The design shows a beautiful interaction between a dog and cat. The artwork was created using spray cans and applied to the front facade of the practice. The image shows the love and affection that pets can share with each other, giving a warm and friendly feeling to the environment of the practice. Scherpenheuvel artist TUZQ, who has been experimenting with spray cans since a young age, has an excellent sense of detail and color. Besides the famous mural of "The Fox" in Testelt, he has completed several other projects in the city.
The artwork fits perfectly with the Beestig veterinary practice, known for their love of animals and quality care for their patients. Scherpenheuvel has been transformed into a hotspot of street art in recent years, with a total of dozens of murals in collaboration with Treepack. In addition to murals, the participatory project "Tour Elentrik" was also launched in which old and gray utility boxes are brightened up with works of art. With this approach, the city wants to bring more color to the streets that ultimately creates more social cohesion among the neighborhood residents.
